The Birkenstock Iona in black is Birkenstock's interpretation of the classic Mary Jane style of shoe that is super comfortable. The Iona is crafted from oiled nubuck leather with an open-selvage finish for an enhanced natural look. Oiled leather means the sandal has an untreated surface. Birkenstock purposely does not treat surface grains of its shoes and sandals. The Iona features an adjustable hook and loop strap with a velcro closure for a secure custom fit. A removable, contoured, suede-lined cork footbed conforms to the shape of your foot and features pronounced arch support and a deep heel cup for optimal comfort and stability. A roomy toe box ensures an abrasion free wear for toes.
